Devlog #0 | Introducing Echoes of the Cave

Hey everyone,

Welcome to the first devlog for Echoes of the Cave — a low-poly, narrative adventure game inspired by Amazigh (Berber) culture, and one of the first indie games ever rooted in North African Amazigh heritage.

You play as Yuba, a young tribal boy who awakens inside a sacred cave filled with ancient echoes, spirits, and symbolic puzzles. There’s no dialogue — only visuals, sound, and the story you piece together yourself.

 Why I’m Making It

As someone with Amazigh roots, I’ve never seen our culture represented in games.

Echoes of the Cave is my tribute — the first of its kind — to honor and explore Amazigh identity through interactive storytelling.
